About  Me

My Little Story

Being born on July 11, 1969 in Seoul, South Korea, I was brought up under the Christian environment and the fine educational instruction of my parents. They were careful to provide a favorable study environment for me, and frequently pointed out the importance of self-discipline and integrity in the development of personality. I'd like to make friends, regard them as real brother and hold good relationship. I guess it may be the fact due to effect from my parents.

Growing up through middle and high schools, I found a high aptitude for scientific fields including Mathematics. When I was in second grade of a middle school, my father gave me a IBM-XT computer. After that time, I have bagun to love computer world. I continually have developed my interest about computer science.

After finishing military service, I continued higher education, entering KwangDong University, where I took up Computer Science Engineering as my major. My decision about Computer Science Engineering was mainly motivated by my strong enthusiasm about the functions and mechanisms of computers.  And I have developed myself in the computer science study fields, and I have been participated in all the basic and essential concepts. During this period, I was very active in both curricular and extracurricular activities and the most interesting subject to me was programming and algorithm.

After graduating University, I took English Language Course(Rice University) during 1 year in U.S.A.  After that, I entered Florida Institute of Technology as a full-time master degree student in the department of computer science, and there, I can extend my knowledge about Computer Science. And also I joined IEEE and Korean-American Scientists and engineers Association to improve my study.

Being fully satisfied with my study, I devoted quite a large share of my time to my academic work. I endeavored to acquire logical reasoning ability in my study as well as all the information within my major. As well, I made steady efforts to establish a strong background in Mathematics, because I found a solid mathematical background was essential for software specification, design and development.

Now, I am taking temporary absence for 2 years from Florida Institute of Technology. In these time, I will think my future way and try to change life......
